Engine Knocking, Please help...
Hi, I have a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo,, V6, 3.2L. The engine is knocking and I took it to the mechanic to find out how to fix it. He told me that there are two sets of bearings, the camsharf and the crankshaft bearings. He said this was being caused by the camshaft bearings and a temporary fix would be to change the camshaft bearings. I called everywhere and no one had this part so I finally called the dealer and they said there are no camshaft bearings on this model and there's only crankshaft bearings.
Could someone please help me out if you know which set of bearing I need to get replaced. Thanks a lot. |

Re: Engine Knocking, Please help...
I seriously doubt that there is any truth in what your mechanic told you and I am willing to bet that the knock is comming from the timing bekt tensioner
