Mitsu Eclipse

Mitsbishi eclipse GT (V6) 5 speed all stock, vs 1988 Pontiac Fiero 6 cylinder automatic with highflow cat and cat back

I own the Mitsu and i can shift fairly well and fairly fast

Who would win and would it be close

Re: Mitsu Eclipse

ur 5 speed vs an auto...wow who would win..

the new gt eclipse has 200 hp or close too even though it is heavy it will still win...unless u suck at shifting...do you?

now agaist a 5 speed fiero it might be close...but the year 88 was heavy compared to the 87 gt

That's kinda funny you ask, because my brother in law has an 88 formula 5speed and at the track he would always race against a 3g eclipse 5 speed. He would beat him by a half a second. His formula is bone stock with a salvage tittle. For 200hp those cars are slow, but you should beat the 88 ONLY because it's an auto. Now if your friend had 200hp you would not have a snowballs chance in hell.
