New TSI

Just picked up a dark green 95 talon TSI AWD. Cost me $4600. 81,000 miles all stock except for a TurboXS RFL bov.

Getting registered early next week, and some stuff is going on ASAP. I'd like to ditch the rear bumper, replace a rear fender, and front bumper in favor of 97 talon, maybe eclipse pieces. Bought a greedy BOV and a RRE upper pipe, so that's going to go soon, and no more venting. Stock radio goes, Big 16g goes on in a few weeks. DSMlink coming before xmas if I get my shit together. After that, we'll see. Wanting new suspension, wheels, AGP FMIC, 660-950cc injectors, supra pump, aeromotive FPR, MAFt, etc.

Nice find. Where do you live? From what i've seen its hard to find that make/model TSi with low miles in good condition.

Colorado Springs. I have a 97 TSI AWD in Alaska, which is a slightly better car (body, sunroof, only 42k miles) but I am going to sell it and make $5000, all the while not having to ship it to the lower 48.

I'll get some pics tomorrow. Slight body damage which is the reason for the fender and rear bumper going. Front will be for consistency.

In the dorms at UCCS, on Austin Bluffs pkwy.
In the love that I need to put into this car, which sideskirts should I go with? It's between stock 95-96 talon or 97-99 eclipse. Will be with 97-99 eclipse front bumper and 97-99 talon rear bumper.

i say the eclipse sides since u will have the front, but then u will have the talon rear.. hmm. tough choice

i dont like the way the eclipse sideskirt matchs up with the door on the first pic so i would use the 95-96 sides from the second pic and use the front bumper that the red car in the second pic has

I really think if you want the 97 eclipse front bumper, then go with the eclipse sides. The 97 talon front bumper looks SO good though, especially with the talon sides. From those two choices though, I'd definitely go with the talon sides on the eclipse front (2nd pic)!
