02 dump?

does an 02 dump connect to the exhaust or is it just go to the atmospher? im thinking of making one for boost creep. do they sound like a bov?

It dumps to atmosphere, and sounds nothing like a BOV Its basically open, unmuffled exhuast. Its loud as hell, and in the case of the externally dumped internal gate, sounds like complete horse shit. A real external sounds better because the valve is bigger. When I had boost creep problems, an external dump did nothing for it. See the "techpages" on my site, I have the info posted there. Hopefully it helps.

You can do a open dump if you like, I know I sounded really against it. Just don;t be too dissapointed if it doesnt help enough to offset the nasty noise it makes. Good luck.
