Broke a wheel stud...

I have a 94 Prelude and I was taking my tire off to change my brake pads, and one of my wheel studs on the passenger side front broke off in the lug nut. This really blows!!! How difficuly/easy is it to change the stud? I know that I might need a stud remover, but thats not a problem, I have a fair knowledge of workin on cars...so someone please help...

i have a 99 civic and i had that same prob it was a bitch i had to take it to the honda dealer due to having to press the bearing out but it may be different on a prelude

i never done it personally on a honda but you would have to take the caliper off; 2 bolts, and use a 32mm socket with impact wrench to take the wheel nut off(it might have a castle nut, dont know), take off the rotor off and hammer all of the old lugs out. then to install the lugs just hammer them in through the back(you dont have to hammer it in all the way; just enough so it stays in there. when you tighten the lug nuts it will pull the lugs all the way in). then just put everything back together. ive only changed lugs on a dodge(ram 1500) before but im sure thats the correct steps.

that happened on my 00 civic and what is did was went to orielly's autopart and bought 4 brand new wheel studs for $1.50 each and took it to Nation Tire and Battery and then changed all 4 of them for $35 bucks. they had to pull the rotor off, and had to use a hammer type tool to pull that plate off that holds the studs. took about 30mins.
