Which engine?
I just bought a 1995 Eagle Talon and I am a big Ford guy and don't know much about it. I would like to know how you know which engine number you have like 4g63 4g64? I have heard people talk about 6 bolt or 7 bolt what does that mean?

Re: Which engine?
First off Welcome to the DSM family. Do you have a Talon TSI(Turbo), ESI(Non-Turbo), Or TSI AWD(Turbo All-Wheel drive). The TSI and TSI AWD have the 4g63 motor whel the ESI has the 420a. 6 bolt refers to the number of bolts on the flywheel( i think). But basicly is a 90-93? 4g63 which is less pron to crankwalk. The 4g64 is basicly a stroked 4g63 that is non-turbo and came in spyders(convertables).

Re: Which engine?
I just picked up a 4G63 (turbo) engine for my brothers car a few weeks ago at www.jdm-motor-engines.com
I believe i got it for about $1500. This could be a source for this engine. Fast Forward |
