Re: hot to the touch radio

My 2001 Lt is the same way, when it lights up at night, the buttons are almost too hot to touch, i just figured its from the back lighting.

Re: hot to the touch radio

When I replaced my factory radio (w/ a pioneer xm), I noticed a nice sized fan on the back of my oem radio. Perhaps there is a fan on yours that is not working correctly?

Re: hot to the touch radio

I have noticed when the interior light brightness is truned all the way up mine will get hot. If you turn the brightness down a little the heat will go away.
