head gaskets vs. rebuilt engine
My 98 outback has almost 170,000 miles. Head gasket just went out and I'm trying to decide whether to fix head gasket or just replace engine considering it has so many miles. Any recommendations?

Re: head gaskets vs. rebuilt engine
There is no reason (unless it's cheaper) to replace a well maintained engine with even 250,000 miles on it instead of repairing the headgasket.
