Re: Happy Thanksgiving

I'm having beer brined turkey ::salivates::

its a shame to waste the beer, but there will be plenty other booze, and brining the turkey makes it more moist than a drunken prom date. oh im sorry is this forum supposed to be PG?

happy turkey day

Re: Happy Thanksgiving

How would you know about a prom date? They don't hold proms for 8th graders. That's right, you dropped out at age 23. You were only in the 7th grade. (Only kidding)
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

My wife, my son, and I are eating our Turkey-day meal at Rainforest Cafe in downtown Chicago. The drive there should be interesting since IT'S SNOWING OUTSIDE MY WINDOW RIGHT NOW!!!!! 300 miles on snowey roads should be fun.

We live in St. Louis..........probably won't eat turkey. I think I'll have a bacon burger If it gets really bad we won't go........we were just trying to have a little vacation time adventure. Went to Cocoa Beach for Thanksgiving a few years ago. FUN FUN!

UPDATE....it's snowing really hard....AND IT'S STICKING!

Re: Happy Thanksgiving

Damn, We have bad weather too. The sun went behind this really big cloud. The temp went down fast. It's only 83 now. Anyone know where I left my coat?
We are going to get rain tonight, and a drop in temp to around 60.
Cass, Stay home. Or drive down here. Wife is making one of those record book turkeys. Don't go to chi town. You'd be better off in KC.
Blurr, you drive Chicago, bring back some food for Cass and his family. Make sure it's hot when you get back.
