Karmann Ghia

This is my latest completed model. the kit is Mr. Hobby. The kit sucks but i love the car. I built this purely for myself so i didnt do alot to it. very basic build. the seats and canopy were rubber and very difficult to work with and the chrome rubbed of some parts using Tamiya polish!?! anyhow i took a 3 month break from modelling(no time) and this was what i got back into it with. PS im now building a Silvia Silhouette check out the prog in motorsports. also these pics were indoor at night, ill take some better ones tommorrow if anyone wants to see it more clearly.

Re: Karmann Ghia

Very nice

It's disapointing that only Mr Hobby makes the convertible. You could have used all the parts of the Tamiya kit (excepted the body) but it would become an expensive project.
Btw, good job, Karmann Ghias are too rare here (beetles too )
