Unhappy what about decaling

You obviously dont used rubbing and polishing compounds with decals on the painted body??????
OR DO YOU CLEAR COAT (something I realised not strongly recommened on this forum)
Or do you rub the paint (metallic or otherwise) to a magnificent lustre and then add decals??????????

TELLLLL MEEEEEEEEEEE

the decals are the very last thing you do.
*Use the rubbing compound first
*Apply the decals
*Use Tamiya wax to polish the paint and decal when dried, and to remove water marks and give it all a final polish.

You must have read my veiws on clear coating.....dont bother

Spend plenty of time getting the finish coat perfect. Then spent more time with the rubbing compound and polish and you will get a perfect shine without the need for a clear coat. Not one of my 70 odd models have been clear coated
