Lately after driving on the highway or after driving fast, I have been having smoke come from under my car. Today I took my tornado out of my TB and realized that it was in backwards, so since I had it out I drove around to see about how fast the car was. I was doin 0-60s using my cd player as a timer, and w/o the tornado it was at about 9.5 seconds for 0-60, then I went back home and put the tornado in and got up to sixty just before 9 seconds... I tested a few times, and then when I got home there was a lot of smoke coming from under the hood and from the sides of the car. I got on the ground and looked underneath, and there was a ton of smoke coming off the resonator, (I think... it was where the 2 pipes from the cats come together as a Y)... so whatever that is. upon further investigation, I realized that it was from oil splattering all over it. This happens the worst when I drive at high RPMs, like I was earlier. There is oil all over the bottom of my car, a thin layer that covers everything. Ever since ive had the car ive noticed a layer of oil on the bottom of the oil pan and a few other things, but lately its gotten worse. So OBVIOUSLY ive got a progressing oil leak. That blows, I can see the bill now... 300 dollars or more just to fix a stupid leak.

Re: This Sucks
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it's a simple fix and not a pan gasket.
