HPI Dash 2WD
![]() Are these hopupable? im buying this for my little brother this christmas, who wants to start this expensive hobby, so im going to start him off with this HPI car. Dose anyone happen to drive on of these?is it any good for a beginner to RC, just trying to keep him away from the cheap xmods, or any wholesale retailer like wal-mart crap. Here's what you get in the box: A rugged complete 2WD chassis with mounted tires and wheels Painted and trimmed body with decals already applied Standard 7.2v battery pack with AC 6-hour wall charger Pistol grip radio with 9v battery, power light and trim adjustments 3 different radio frequencies, switch-selectable on the radio and car Long-wear X-Pattern tires on our brand new "Split 6 Pattern" wheels. BTW, my budget is 100 buks, so this the only reasonable rc i could find thats RTR.

Re: HPI Dash 2WD
Pretty good cars. Only disadvantage is the 2wd. A good bit of the hop ups are for AWD/4WD. However, HPI does make lots of parts, and they might have some conversion pieces with the AWD hop ups. So that and the HPI sprint are great starters.
