04 COMPG cabin filter

I went to get my oil changed yesterday at lube pros and they also changed my cabin filter. However to get to it the guy had to remove the cowl at the base of the windshield. He put everything back the way it was suppose to be but the plastic does not seal as tightly anymore. Should I be concerned about this? It does not seem like a big problem but I don't want any premature rust. When I had my Aztek all you had to do was open the glove compartment. I would post some pictures but I don't know how?

As long as the fasteners are tight I wouldn't worry about it.

The '97-'03 GPs don't come with cabin air filters but have all the equipment necessary to accomodate one. I added one to my car........their cheap, easy to install, and do a world of good.

Our Montana minivan has the same setup as the Aztec........doesn't get much easier to change than that. Open the glove box, slide an access panel and replace filters.

I have a 97 GP GT and I'm interested in installing a cabin filter in it. How is this done? Any links to explain? Thanks...
