speed sensor???

can u tell me where the speed sensor is located????? some people told me you can gain a few more RPM by removing this sensor>>>>>>

well,when you disconnect it,
it does raise the idel
& it will throw a code in your ecu

if your going to do it,
just disconnect it,

dont pull the sensor out itself,
coolant pours

wich time u think is aceptable for this engine, swaped out on a 4th gen, run on 1/4 mile??

I would say stock vtec b16,
my friend had a b18 twin cam stock,aem,3" exhaust all the way back,
in a honda acura & he ran a 16.2

well y used to have and integra 90, whith a B18a non vtec an i ran 15.8, just whith little tricks i did, all stock engine

do u mean vehicle speed sensor if so its on the tranny and i dont think u will gain anything but a ecu code, no vtec and no speedometer

actually, the vehicle speed sensor is located on the back side of the instrument cluster. on cable speedo cars, the thing in the tranny is simply a gear to drive the speedo cable, which in turn drives the VSS on the back of the cluster :P

Electric VSS simply bypasses the cable and the gear that runs off the differential spins some sort of sensor directly, in which it then puts off a pulsed signal to the ECU... just like the cable one.
