What gen/year Firebird? I bought one for my 87, and the only problem I have is it that it sits just a smidge too high on the brackets as the hole were drilled about a quarter inch too low. But after a bit of deliberation, I decided it gave my baby an even meaner look, so I left it alone I got it on ebay, $800 with the ram air kit and shipping. You can also pick up a non-functional one for a good deal less.

Re: i want to buy a hood but need help

I have been looking for a WS6 hood myself, So if you find a good deal/ I would like details as well. I normally search ebay and most F-body classified sections of related site's. I also normally check www.car-parts.com and look up replacement hood for a 96 firebird and then request the Ram air type. Well keep us updated on what you find.

got my functional ram air hood from sun coast creations. had my body shop set up a wholesale account with them and it saved me 100 bucks. hood looks bad ass. All after market hoods need a little tweakin to make um perfect tho.

Peace
