P0175 Code!!!!!!
Geez....I can't get a break!!
Reference the "Does this sound like the isolater bolt problem?" thread below. I got rid of the tapping noise in the plenum intake by doing as 12ounce suggested. Pulling off the cover and RTV-ing the inner half/baffle to the upper half. That was this weekend. Today the wife was driving it and the engine light came on. I did a scan and it shows a code of P0175 - Bank 2 - too rich. I did a seach of this thread and nothing of value came back. I'm pretty sure all the connecters got put back on. Possibly a vacuum loose?? Any thoughts?? Thanks.....John |

Follow-up
I did some research on the F150online website. Someone mentioned that having an air leak by the air filter caused their P0175 light. I had mine off earlier for the other problem so I reseated my filter and checked all the vacuum hoses I played with. I reset the light and it didn't come back on during the test drive. We'll see what happens after a few more miles. I also found the below site for troubleshooting the OBDII codes for 2001-2002 gas engines. Has some good tips. http://www.clubfte.com/users/screwy/0102.html John |

Re: P0175 Code!!!!!!
Great link.............thanks for posting.
Good luck with your 175 code. The light should take 2 or 3 drive cycles to appear if it is a hard failure. |
