Eclipse=best subs in the world

did anyone see sunday's pimp my ride which featured a chevy blazer. Mad Mike which is in charge of electronics stated that the titanium subs that were installed in the blazer were the best on the market and the strongest. is it just me or is this guy an idiot, even your boy X 2 the Z xzibit corrected mad mike. i believe they were part of the eclipse titanium subwoofer line. just thought it was funny a car audio expert thinks eclipse makes the best subs. and yes i know i should have posted this in a different forum, but i thought the car audio enthusiats could appreciate it the most of anyone.

"Mad Mike" is the biggest damn retard in the industry, I swear to god

I saw one episode that had a crappy little bazooka amp and what looked like a 10" bazooka tube and he was going around claiming it was 6000 watts. I just want to slap him most of the time....that being said the eclipse titaniums are some very nice subs. I wouldn't go so far as to call them "the best", but they are very nice. Then again they're very expensive too.

im almost positive the subs were rockford fosgate power t2s or t3s.. either way it doesnt matter neither would qualify as the best on the market.. i agree 100% that almost every guy on that show is rediculous and they are nothing more than a "ghetto shop" with a high budget.. meaning in case you havent noticed every show throws 20 screens, big cheap woofers, 20" rims, tinted windows, and flashy paint at a car.. never paying attention to any of the more important aspects, especially the motor. i could go on and on and im sure most of you could as well but any car enthusiast would agree that the show is terrible.

haha and i love how they put rivers and fireplaces inside of cars.. thats almost cool

Mad Mike is good at installations..... he does some pretty stuff, but he has no product knowledge and falls under the trend of a huge overrated max power figure. Ish is gooooood I love what he does to the interiors. Lol WWC needs to hire the forums knowledgeable guys to train mad mike.... I bet he doesn't even know what the hell adire audio is.... wut a shame.

you have to remember though that the products they use are sponsored, they don't have to pay much if anything for them, so they'll use whatever is given to them. Lower models, upper models, audiobahn, lanzar....it all costs the same for them and they have to give each sponsor air time, so that's what they do. I'm pretty sure if someone went to them for an audio setup that wasn't affiliated with pimp my ride they would actually use some decent equipment.

My real complaint with him is he talks everything up so much that he's basically just telling blatant lies about the equipment.

yea thats screwy, lyin about the product on television so their sponsors get more sold, but that's the way it works i guess

sometimes they have some decent interiors, etc, but they definitely don't pay attention to engine work, as they are strictly a customization shop from what i know of. I wouldn't take my car to em though, way too expensive. I know of some local shops around here that do better work

ive seen pics of some cars they have done not related to pimp my ride and sad to say they arnt much better, xzibits h2 has like 4 audiobahns in a massive box and they claim that they are the best subs. period. they are pretty much just into flashy expenesve over the top things, i would never take my car to them, i cant belive someone took an enzo their to get rims.

the stuff that's not is probably payed for by the show, as are the workers
