Headlights go out...

I have a problem with my 99 Dakota Club Cab.
While driving I switch the headlights from high to low beams and the lights go out. Does anyone know if this problem lies in the light switch or the high beam selector switch?

I also have the same problem with my 99 club cab - This didnt start happening until i took it in for service at a dodge dealer shop though
