Angry 1987 Wranger won't start

had water problems becase Jeep sat for over a month without being run. Changed gas line filter and added NAPA Heat to tank. Pulled 12 qts of fuel from line before fuel filter. Reattached fuel line. Jeep started right up.

Ran vehicle 5 days ago, no issues. Now engine turns but does not want to fire. Rechecekd fuel - Gas clear. Carb is getting gas. Engine turns but does not even attempt to fire.

Cap, and Rotor brand new. Wires less than 6 months old. Any suggestions? Solenoid?

CJs, I don't know what it could be. You need gas, air and spark for the engine to run. Sounds like you're getting fuel, and you said it's clear. But did it smell like gas?

Check the spark, you can take out a plug and hold it close to the block while you crank the engine with a helper. Does it spark?

Check air filter and carb. If you got gas into the carb, the float bowl could be contaminated or even rusted, if it sat long enough.

Hope this helps.
