I am toying with the idea of replacing the stock exhaust on my 5.7L Hemi with a MagnaFlow cat-back, and I have a few questions for anyone who might have done the same:
1 - MagnaFlow advertises 1 hour self-installation with basic tools. Is that about right, or is there more to it than that? What's involved? 2 - The bast price I can find is $459 - anyone find something better? 3 - What kind of performance boost can be expected? 4 - What does one do with the stock system once it's out? Is there a market for them - maybe EBay? All help is appreciated! |

Re: 04 Durango Exhaust
I installed the Magnaflow exhaust on my '04 Hemi Durango. Noticible power and acceleration gain, great sound but not too loud. Available for about $420. Send me an e-mail [email protected] for information.

Re: Re: 04 Durango Exhaust
That's what I wound up doing - I had a custom exhaust put on using a Magnaflow muffler and have been really happy with the results.

Re: 04 Durango Exhaust
I added a magnaflow cat back system add had it installed for 55 bucks in edmonton. The instructions state to take veh to exhust shop to have checked for leaks anyway. Also added a Airaid cold air intake and a TBs. Hold off on a Supercharger after talking to Dodge in Merit Bc a local fellow put in a blower and blew up rad and other engine parts. This wont be covered under warrannt. I also use Castrol Syntec oil 5w/50 30 bucks a case at costco and see 20 mpg at 110 k with cruise on
