Re: Best Muffler??

if im not mistaken i think that 3.0" is the most economic exhaust size; considering cost, fit, and performance gain. in terms of mufflers, flowmaster im not a fan of. if all you want is good sound than they are great, but if you are looking for any kindof flow benefit than i would go another route. i went with magnaflow and couldnt be happier. ofcourse borla is top of the line stuff and sounds great and then there is loudmouth which i think works on the third gens, could be wrong though...

Re: Best Muffler??

the loud mouth has an aggressive sound, a little more pricey compared to the flo master, i have the flow master 80 series on my 3rd gen camaro it sound really good.

Re: Best Muffler??

IMO you cant beat the sound of the GMMG inc. chambered exhaust system.

besides that youre probly gonna hear, flowmaster american thunder, 80 seriese, or 40 series

glass packs

SLP loudmouth

magnaflow

those are pretty much the most commonly picked for best sound, but you should download sound files or better yet listen to the real thing if at all possible, and choose based on what you like best.
