K&N Filter

How often are you supposed to clean a K&N Air Filter? And how do I clean it? This is NOT the cone type. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

you can go to pretty much any automotive store,and they will have K/N filter cleaning kits.its just the cleaner and the oil for it before you put it back in.its quite cheap.you only have to do this every 50,000 to 100,000 miles depending on the road conditions.

50,000 to 100,000 miles is way to long. i would clean it every 10k to 15k.
