Progress: C10

This is my C10 I have been working on for the past week so far I have shaved the handles, all the side trim, and most of the emblems. There is not going to be an engine because of the way the axle is rigged to get so low. Tge paint is like Tamiya Dark Green or sometihng like that. the wheel are pegasus hobbies 23in T's.

Hey,

Nice progress so far. Everyhting looks nice, paint, stance, how about adding some clear peal over the green? Just my opinion tho. Keep up the nice work.

Re: Progress: C10

That is one sweet truck. I have one of those in my closet ready to be opened up. I have already bought a resin cowl induction hood for it. I love this style of chevy truck, especially w/ those rims! What are you going to do for interior?

Re: Progress: C10

i think im just going to use rubbing compound because i have had bad luck with tamiya clear. For the interior think i might smooth out the dash and the door panels.

Re: Progress: C10

Hey,

Well, everything sounds good. I think in "Model Cars" mag, there was a drawing of this type truck, but 4 door-short bed. I know you prolly won't go back n try it, but I always wanted to see it done like that...like...this acctually... http://www.socalcustoms.net/Shows/20...s/DSC04084.htm Keep the good work goin.

Re: Progress: C10

Nice stance on that classic Chevy! Man that four door in the link is llloooooonnnggg! I like the long & low look, but whoa!!

Where I live (Redding, Ca) we have a car show(Kool April Nights)evry year & there is a truck similar to this that attends every year. It is a late seventies/early eighties Ford, four door, long bed. This truck has to be close to thirty feet long!!
