94 grand am, repacement starter wiring????

I'm replacing the starter solenoid in my 94 grand am (2.3). the solenoid i pulled out had 3 wiring posts on the top of it. but the replacement that i got from autozone has 4. everything fits fine and seems to be the right part except for that new extra 4th post. after wiring everything up as close to original as i could i wasn't even getting a click out of the solenoid. i'm assuming that the new 4th post needs to be jumped to one of the other three but i'm a little reluctant to just start randomly trying the other 3. Please any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks alot. i'm kinda new to GM's.

Call AZ and ask them, They are always helpful. Did the new starter not come with wiring instructions?
