Question Connecting Radio

Hey i have isntalled an aftermarket deck it works great but my radio isnt working that good i know i need to connect the antenna but how do i connect the antenna to the female connector in the CD PLAYER.?

If I recall correctly: The antenna's male end is smaller than the female end on the cd player. Right? There is an adapter for that available almost anywhere you can buy a stereo from. It's called a GM antenna adapter. It's only about 6" long and they don't cost more than 10 bucks.

yah thats great i have the adapter but what do i connect into the adapter, on the factory stereo there is a thick black wire that is connected into the stereo and cannot be removed unless you cut it is that the antenna wire or the ground, if its the ground then where is the cable for the antenna...?

That Black cable (about a 1/4" thick) is the antenna cable and it should come right out with no cutting. you may have to tug a bit but it is connected via a plug.
