ABS Problems on 93 S-10 Blazer System 8

I have a 1993 S-10 Blazer with the ABS system 8 installed. About a year ago, the light come on and I had it tested. They said it was a faulty wheel sensor. When I replaced the ball joints on the front end, I also replaced the wheel sensor due to a broken wire. I tested the sensor with a test meter and it checked out or at least was sending a signal, but the light was still on. At that time I didn't have much time to work with it anymore. Awhile later, I took it in again to get the 4x4 working. The mechaninc at that time also checked the ABS codes. He said he couldn't even read the computer; he said the module was shot. I went to a junk yark and purchased a used one (still is not installed).

Just yesterday I bought one of those code readers from a local parts store. It reads the old abs box codes just fine, which would tell me the box is fine, but it gives me a code 25 which is no singnal or high resistance on the left front wheel sensor. As I said before, the sensor was tested and working like the right wheel when I tested it. I tried reseting the box by the instructions which was turn the key to the on posistion, plug the tester in for two seconds and unplug for one second and then repeat once and then turn the key off. The light now comes on, goes off and then comes back on again; which it never did before...It would always stay on. I checked all the connections and all are pluged in secure and clean.

I did test the used box I purchased from the junk yard and the light does go off and stay off on that box. Could the problem be in the box?? I also got the speed sensors from the front wheels of the same vehicle...

Another theory I was thinking is I might have used the right one on the left side...(It has been along time so I can't remember) if this is even possible, and if it is, could this cause the problem??

Any help would be greatly appciciated......(Winter is here and I would like to get them working)

Code 25 is a faulty Intake Air temperature sensor.

I am talking ABS Codes, not ECM codes.
