1989 Toyota Deluxe 4X4 Pickup Engine Seals Leaking
I have a 1989 Toyota Pickup (4X4). I believe the rear engine seal is leaking. The underside is coated in oil and this leak has been present for about 2 years now. I am wondering how difficult this is for me to fix and what would be required to do this task of replacing the rear engine seal. I figure if I do replace the rear seals then I will need to replace the front seals too. Any suggestions, thoughts, comments....thanks,

My 89 pickup has the same leak and I took it to a mechanic. He said that it would cost $750! he said he would have to lift the entire engine out of the truck and seperate the engine from the trans and replace the gasket. Good luck with your leak.
