child safe locks

cannot open the back doors due to child safe locks apparently malfunctioning....any ideas? (geo metro)

most questions have already been asked about the geo so do some searches,,,,,,, these are wonderful cars but can be a real pain to figure out at times
somtimes different fixes for the same syptoms lol
