battery problem

driving home this morning battery light comes on i get home try to start it battery is dead.i noticed the volt gauge was flickering any ideas?also earlier in the week my abs light came on i had all 4 brakes and rootors replaced it the brake still studders a little when it get about 10 mph,maybe did the battery getting low have anything to do with this erlier in the week the abs light and stuff?

Yep they are all the same problem. You alternator went out to lunch and never came back, The abs lite was from a low voltage reading and unable to work alt output was at bare min 12.8 volts. Now that the alt is dead it drained the battery by running the truck . Replace the alt and charge the battery then have it tested to made sure it will still hold a charge
