Annoying screech

Yo guys having a big embarassing problem here. Okay so every time i turn my car on this loud ass shreaking screaching sound happens, and its most likely the belts. I learned to deal with it because it only happened when i start the car up. However, just this week i started the car up it made that same exact sound, but it also made it when i started to turb the steering wheel a bit as i pull ot of my parking spot. And as i turn the corner out pof the parking lot (left or right) it makes the sound when i let off the clutch a little and put on the gas while im turning. So im thinking i need to tighten the belts....if you disagree let me know. I doubt if its the timing belt, it may be the other ones. Anyway, i never personally changed or messed with belts at all, so can someone let me know how go about fixing this problem. Thanks in andvance guys! -Ray

Re: Annoying screech

I had a similar experience... my AC belt was dragging on the AC side and the motor pulley burned right through the belt!!! Lot's of white smoke under the hood!!!!! Quite shocking/funny!! Yes look at tightening your belts..alt. belt and steering belt... should only be able to turn/twist the belt about 90 degrees
