I think I have a short in the switch since if I wedge in a small shim I can get the brake lights to work. If I remove the shim no brake lights.
Has anyone replaced this switch? Is it done through the steering wheel housing or dismantling the dash? Instructions? |

Re: Multifunction Switch '95 Blazer
Have you replaced the brake light switch on the brake pedal?

No, but since I could get the brake lights to work with the shim against the hazard light switch I think it's probably okay.

Re: Multifunction Switch '95 Blazer
I was thinking $200 for the part and $100 to install but not sure if I'm even in the ballpark. I checked the NAPA site and a cluster for a blazer w/airbag and cruise went for ~$175 but this was for a third party part.
