weird feeling when turning

I just bought a 98 explorer xlt and when i trun the wheel mostly to the left it feels like the floor board moves. Its coming from under the drivers side where your left foot rest like under the e-brake pedal. I cant really explain the feeling except it feels like it bubbles up for like a split second. Is this common on explorers like does it have somethign to do with the steering column or something.

Does the floorboard actually move???? My explorer actually jiggles when i turn but is from the wheels needing to be aligned which im getting fixed over the holidays? maybe u jus need a wheel alignment??

No it only omes form that spot not somethign that i think would have anything to do with alignment. only on the upper left side of that floor mat is where i can feel it.
