95 Gc battery problem???

I hope you folks might be kind enough to help me with my 95 Jeep. When the battery is charged, the vehicle starts just fine. Over a period of days the battery appear to get weak. Finally the vehicle will not start/turn over anymore. Battery reads 12.5 v at rest, 13.9 while engine is running.

I have cleaned the battery cables, switched the battery, and verified alternator operation by disconnecting the negative battery terminal. So far, nothing has changed.

I would sure appreciate any help you might offer me. I have a digital volt/ohm meter that I can use. Thank You!

When you have it running take it to auto zone have them check battery and alternator input back to battery Removing cable doesn't prove its getting full voltage back to battery, just that its putting out voltage Dale [email protected]

If you have a under the hood light check it they have been known to drain battery
