Ca bay area places to drive:mines road south of livermore CA
If anyone lives in the east bay area and is looking for a place to drive there car without being hassled by everyone else and there mother, there is a good road just south of livermore ca.. DIRECTIONS from 580 freeway take N. Livermore ave. and head SOUTH. After going through the town of Livermore It will turn into tesla road and you will notice all the wineries. Make a right turn onto mines road. About 5 miles up, the road continues going straight and turns into Del Valle Road, Leading to lake Del Valle(great fishing by the way) , but instead make a left to continue on mines road. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SOME GAS IN YOUR CAR, AT LEAST A HALF TANK. There are actually 3 different ways to get to this road, one from I-5, one from San Jose , and one from Livermore. The trip from Livermore to I-5 is probably the best, although there is some really good road on the livermore side of San Antone Valley road(the way from San Jose). I recommend driving in from livermore, then about 30 miles up the road there is a resturaunt called the junction(more of a bar). Take a break, eat a delicious Jerry burger and head east towards I-5. Have fun!!!!!! WARNING some of the road is one lane so be carfull. Some parts have lots of bumps before the corners, sometimes your ABS will act up and come in to early on these. There are alot of cliffs, road hazards etc. DO US ALL A FAVOR AND STAY ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. There are lots of blind corners and other cars/bikers coming the opposite direction. DRVIVE SAFE HAVE FUN!! PLEASE POST YOUR FAVORITE ROADS

Re: Ca bay area places to drive:mines road south of livermore CA
I live in Spokane, Washington and I gotta say that Division is where it's at. (not really, but that's where everyone drives their cool cars at) It kinda sucks, though, there are ALWAYS a lot of cops; especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

I live in Napa...... insert your joke here....
the hills around this little valley have some of the most beautiful mountain roads to tear up. Little to no police presence.....you can find me up there atleast twice a week. I would like to name some of my favorites, but I like that there is little police presence and want to keep it that way. listen for the four cylinder thunder and you can find me...... :evillol: 72 Datsun 510 built L20b race engine dual Dell'orto DHLA 40's |
