not 100% corollas!!

i had a 98 prizm and the a/c died. lots of prizm parts are not corolla parts on the newer cars. a 98 corolla with the same miles would never have had an a/c die like that.

You are correct. The prizm's are not 100% corollas. The only thing the 2 cars share are the engine and drive train. There may be other common parts depending on if the corolla was built in Fremont Ca. The prizm does use G.M.'s ac delco electrical system. My father retired for NUMMI as one of the v.p.'s. I get a lot of inside info. FYI. Some people have said the the corollas built in Fremont are not as good as the one's built in Japan. Actually, when Toyota did there qualilty audits on the corolla's in Fremont they scored higher than the ones built in Japan.
