LSD Issues

I just bought my 99GT so I still have some of my 90 day warranty left. I wanted to get everything dealt with before this runs out. I have a strange issue with the LSD. If I'm driving and decide to kick the ass end out a little the differential doesn't always lock the way it should. If I'm making a left turn and floor it, the rear end will kick out the way I feel it should. But if making a right turn the right rear tire will just spin and it will not lock the diff. The diff also seems to lock ok when in a straight line cause I definitely have tons of traction when launching. Does anyone know what causes this? It'd be nice to have an idea of what may be wrong so I don't get screwed by the dealer when I bitch about it.
