Heater blend door actuator power problem

I have a 99 Taurus with very little heat. Blend door actuator was not working so I bought a new one from Ford dealer. That doesn't work either. Is there a fuse for this actuator motor? The manuals I have don't show it fused. To get by, I wired the blend door shaft open but there is still very little heat. Lines in and out of the heater core are hot. It lines are restricted by corrosion will they both be hot? Help before I freeze to death.

Re: heater trouble with taurus

The actuator door is fused. It is called "BK LPS/ AC" and is a 15amp fuse in passenger compartment, Position #6. A friend also said that both lines can be hot with very little heat. He mentioned a by-pass/ relief line between the inlet and outlet of the heater core. I am going to backflush the heater core while I plug the bypass line. I hope it works.

my heat is pretty good now, since i (believe it or not) put a new radiator cap on! its still not perfect, but good. where is this bypass / relief valve? i aint seen noting like that on my 98. unless its the crossver from the waterpump to the thermostat, but thats not a valve.
