Brake lights not working
The fuse is not blown and the brake light on the cab is working. This happened after I hooked up to a trailer with trailer lights. There must have been a short in the trailer wiring, it blew the blinker fuse but not the fuse for the brake light.
Any guidance on this will be appreciated. |

Re: Brake lights not working
if it blew the turn signal fuse, your problem is going to be in the turn signal switch most likely.

Re: Brake lights not working
I replaced the turn signal fuse, they work now. The brake light fuse is not blown and the brake light on the cab does work.
I will check the bulbs today, the taillights and blinkers work. I had assumed that they are the same bulbs as the brake lights. Am I wrong on this? |

Re: Brake lights not working
if your turn signals work, then the bulbs are good. They use the same bulb. Check the turnsignal switch....everything runs through it.
