Red face my car blew up again! funny story

haha well almost again after the many problems i had new wires on and got it started and running again...new problem i cant stop the damn radiator backflow hose to stop spewwing out all my coolant...literally (no its not the cap because i tried 2 diffrent ones i have) so im like u know what...fuck it cause up intil about 6 months ago the backflow thing was rusted or sealed shut...i know because 6 monthes ago i found it and got a nail and opened it back up....so i screw a screw in it this time and figure no water will come out now.....nah it SPEWs and i mean spews all over my engine... im like fuck! so i stop it and let it cool...cant get the damn car to start back up(which was a main idea since i had put block sealer in the radiator just previous to the spewing) anyways i let the radiator drain out over night and i flushed it the next morning with a bit of coaxing on the gas pedal i got it to start....so i drive.....and nothing its running ok....not overheating any.....i keep going and i get to work nothing...next i try and restart it to leave about 9 hours later...and it wont turn over again im like fuck....so eventually after like 5 min of trying...i get it to start...so i figure now i have time...lets warm her up and i started to drive a bit. and opened her up...shes runninng ok...still not firing all cyclders i think though cause it almost seemed a little sluggish even for a NT. but still not hot...its totally staying in the halfway point like it should. next thing i know im just driving normal and i hear a BOOM! and sssssss and all this semi white/clear smoke comes pourin in the AC...im like oh great...so i figure its a line somewhere it wasnt any main radiator tube topm or bottom or anything else i could see in the darkk but the main tubes were fine. maybe ill get lucky and it will just be my block or something. (sigh)

Re: my car blew up again!

your radiator backflow hose should go into your overflow tank. the coolant will come out the hose into the overflow tank as the car heats up (the coolant expands) but when the car cools off it will suck it back in. if you dont have a overflow tank on your car GET ONE!

Re: my car blew up again!

yeah i have one but i did just say several monthes ago i had found it sealed(car was running just fine) so i figured what the fuck why not try it i couldnt keep the water in anyways. b4 it was overheating and steaming out but yesterday it was literalling just SPEWWing water out..not steam ,just like a faucet.
