Re: hp Question and cam question
I suppose I can answer those:
You're probably making about 240hp at the crank. Pullies are easy, Cam is hard

Re: hp Question and cam question
Start simple, intake manifold, throttle body, MAF, ETC. Gears are a good SOTP increase, but I would recommend having a shop do them if it's your first...

Quote:
i wouldnt worry w/ the cam if your gonan keep the car in mostly stock form. if your plannen on going all out and getting heads and intakes then it would be totally necessary to swap the cam. ive never changed pullies but it cant be too difficult.

Re: hp Question and cam question
Replacing the pullies isn't too bad, the only problem I ran into was lining up the water pump pulley bolts. Make sure you put some penetrating oil on the alt pulley to loosen up some of the grime, it may take a impact gun to remove it but if you work on it with a breaker bar and a mallet (like I did) it'll come off sooner or later. Also loctite the crank pulley bolts.

Re: hp Question and cam question
I wasn't talking about Cold Air, I meant an Edelbrock, GT-40/Cobra/explorer, Holley, or TFS Intake Manifold.
Stock cam outflows your heads, so don't swap cams with stock heads. You may actually lose power.
