how should i go about having my computer chip burned

u guys said i would need to have a custom chip burned for my car after dropping in the 350, how should i go about it? do i just take the computer to the person that going to do it, or will the need the whole car so they can tweak the settings?

you could go both ways, if your able to take the car go ahead and get a chip, if you can't just send him the computer with the mods you have done and they should be able to burn you a chip with no problems, i would personally recommend taking the car there though

im afraid that it wont run, cause its a FI engine and im putting a holley tbi unit on it.

get in touch with www.fastchips.com, they arent really cheap by my standards, but they appear to know their stuff. if you are interested in burning your own chips, i could send you some info on that. as im looking to get into it myself in a few years.

i was telling my buddy that i was having a chip burned for it and he said why not just use the one that is in his old computer. so im just going to do that and he gave me his computer so i will be good to go.

You could try finding someone local who will custom burn chips. Theres a guy from the camaro club here that burns them for 200 canadian.

well my friend had a 90 rs same as me, he was the one that built this engine that i have and he said that i will be able to use his computer which has a custom burned chip.
