ABS/Brake Light 1999-BIG THANK YOU TO ALL...

Myy 99 durango had same issue as others who posted on this problem. Last Saturday the ABS & Brake lights came on when I started the car and they stayed on. Took to shop and they tried to run diagnostics and could not . Seems their computer could not talk to my computer and they said I needed to go back to dealer to have them run test to find out what the problem was as there was nothing wrong with my brakes. Thats when I found this amazing website. I took the advice from you all and called dealer and bought the rear speed sensor, $33.75. Hubby & I installed it in about 20 minutes and it took care of the problem. No more abs/brake lights staying on.

So I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all who posted on this issue. It saved me a lot of money and time.

Daimler Chysler has their ABS info hush, hush. They have not let it out to the public yet and being greedy about it.Only scan tool that will read the codes is their factory scan tool DRB III.
