Brat Ice racing?

Hey what do you all think of Ice racing an old suby brat? I just saw a post here about an sti motor in it.
I'm not sure if I would want to do that though I am interested has any one else heard of an sti brat swap before? I have been looking into ice racing lately and cosidered some other cars but they all suck or WAY to expesensive. I am not going to start off paying 6000gs for a car I would like that to be the MAX price after it is all built personaly.

The 240z I bought was 2500 and the motor swap that i just did to get 425 hp and 575 torque at 3000rpm was about 300 bucks. I haven't tracked her yet but she only ways 2300 pounds I want to put in a new L.S.D. before I track her though. -----

Well my point is I want to stick pretty cheap with this and I can get a brat for cheap in decent condition so...
