Unhappy Oil in the air filter

Hey guys...I have a 1992 Jeep Wrangler 2.5L 4 cyl. I just got the head machined and am in the process of putting my engine back together after a bad overheating incident. Before it overheated, I was getting some oil in both the oil filter and intake manifold. I already checked to see if the vaccum fitting on the valve cover was clogged. It was not. Has anyone come across this problem or have any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Oil in the air filter

You may have been getting some blowback with the head problem. I'd clean everything out well, then check periodically to see if the problem is still there.

Thanks, I'll try to clean the hoses out. There is no PCV Valve though. But that sounds like it could work.
