Jeep Wrangler Tire/wheel Size???

My wife is about to purchase a 1992 Wrangler.
It has the stock OEM tires/Wheels on it.
She would like to put on a set of wheels/Tires from a "newer" Wrangler (2002-2004).
My questions are:
1)What is the STOCK OEM Tire /Wheel size from the factory, for a 1992 Jeep Wrangler?
2)Will the newer tires/wheels from a 2002-2004 Wrangler, fit on her 92 model Wrangler?
3)1)What is the STOCK OEM Tire /Wheel size from the factory, for a 2002-2004 Jeep Wrangler?

Re: Jeep Wrangler Tire/wheel Size???

02 and 04 are about the same, 15x7 rims. SE has 215/75 on it, and Sport has 225/75. You can also get 30" tires on a 15x8 rim. The Rubicon has 16" rims with 235/75's on it.

So there's many different sizes of tires. It's just a matter of how big you'd want to go.

What engine do you have? If it's the 4 cyl, I wouldn't go above 235/75 unless you plan a gear swap; my 2.5 was a dog even with the 235/75's.

As far as the rims from an 02-04 fitting, I'm not sure. But you could find out, by measuring the distances between the lugs on yours, and comparing with the same measurement on a newer model. Check by measuring the distance both to an adjacent lug and to the second one over.
