i dont know much bout cars so thats why i came here. I was reading thru the threads and there was a lot talk about how ppl own I-4's instead of V6's.
Why/how is the I-4 better than the V6?

Well, the reason most GK (03-04) Tiburon owners have I4s is probably because they're cheaper. The weight difference is neglible. Now, the RD(97-99) and RD2(00-01) Tibs weigh about 400 lbs less than the GK.

Yes i know, its a dumb question

well it depends on what you want from your car/ your goals.
if you want some pretty good power right off teh lot and plan on modding the tib a bit than go with the V6
if you want a daily driver and jus need to get here and there go with the i4
if you want to bosst teh hell out of your car, youll need to research which is better for your goals

I enjoy my new red Tib a whole lot....just zipping around town and everyone leaves me alone; don't try jumping out in front of me or cutting in front of me like they used to do. Although I live in a congested area, I am able to have a joyride on I 95 once in awhile and my Tib has been the funnest auto I have ever had!!!!

I hope to enjoy it for many years.
