first step for turbo

now i know there's thread after thread of guys asking "what duuu youuu neeeeed toooo uuhhhh turbooooooo this carrrrr"

those threads are still here and will still come, we can't change that.
what i wanna know is (mostly for the guys who have done it), what was your very first step in your ka24de turbo?? what were the very first steps you took in putting boost into your ka??
by this i mean, which parts did you put in initially

some of us (obviously like myself) want to turbo our ka's but need the stones to step on..

yeah apparently nobody feels like helping me out.. whatever, i'll talk to the guys i know have turbos on their ka.. but if anyone feels like posting anything about it, here's where..

and you know what, this shows how many people walk the walk. i know 2 guys for sure on this forum that have ka-t's but so many other people talk the shit.. i have to say i'm one of them cause i don't have anything to show but since today was the last day i could drive my car because of insurance, i'm gonna have a long winter of makin some $$$

Dude, I'm just yanking your chain, I meant it when I said the automatic clutch dude was stupid, but with you, it's just playing.

Re: first step

Revhard manifold
Garrett T04B turbocharger (.60ar compressor w/S-trim wheel: .69ar turbine housing with P-Trim wheel)
Turbonetics evolution 35mm wastegate
Greddy type S blow off valve
Import-autoperformance oil lines
Autometer boost, oil press, A/F gauge
ACT heavy duty pressure plate with street disk
PVC intake tubing
A shitload of Ace hardware brass fittings
Apexi N1 exhaust
K&N filtercharger
custom downpipe w/no cat

I should be able to post up some pics soon. It looks pretty ghetto with the PVC intake but I don't care. As long as it works I'm cool with it. 5psi BTW. I'm about to use a SVO intercooler that I just picked up.

For the oil lines, it's those braided SS ones right?

Re: first step

According to the MPH calculator, I'm making about170whp. They are stainless lines. My et's don't match up. Bad launches.
