is remanufactured really that bad?
i was looking at some remanufactured stereos and they were all super cheap. are they bad? is remanufactured the same thing as refurbished? they are fixed right, i mean wouldnt they be as good as new or even better?

I wouldn't go so far as to say better, but they are tested. I would go remanufactured if I could have found them. People like to buy new however. I think it is just the feeling of owning something no one else has used. Personally, I could care less.

yeah ebay has a ton of remanufactured head units, i want a pioneer with a flip out screen that is only like $500. anyone know if they come with manules or anything?

i would warn agianst the motorized screen HD's. the little gears that move the screen are made of weak plastic...over time (very short time) they wear and it will eventually slow and or not move at all or one of the gears will brake and the screen jsut flops down. everyone i know that has had one has had it break within warranty, had it fixed, then sold it asap.
