Thinning clear

I had some trouble thinning my clear last night. I was using PPG clear and PPG Thinner. It had some sort of odd film in it and was almost impossible to thin. It sprayed really oddly too. It was pretty cold though, so could that be a factor?

Re: Thinning clear

Cold temperature can definately thicken the paint. There are some clears that dont use reducers, so make sure that the clear does use a reducer. Also, make sure you are using the correct reducer.

Heres the rule, proverb I follow. Thinners for cleaning, reducers for reducing.
